Spectral reflectance measurements of main rock units in northern east Homs
This work aims at determining the spectral signature for rock units between the range 350-2500 nanometer in the area under investigation.
This work leads to measure some selected points depending on the geological map to measure the spectral signature and build a list of characteristic of the points under investigation, that contain name of points – coordinating points by using GIS – date and time of measurements- characteristic of rock units (age- color- morphology- or shape of surface- topographic of surface). The number of measurements repeated at least three times.
The measurements was done by using spectral spectrometer and the data was processed by using special programs to explain it at the end as an excel format to gain and illustrate the final results after analysis.
